About Me:

I love to think, grow, and explore the world. I love to have my own paradigms and theories blown or shifted because it almost always leads me into more thinking and wondering about how things work.

I've lived many different lifestyles. When my daughter (now 16) was very young, we were on welfare, living in a project, until we finally moved into a tent to escape the cycle of poverty. After the tent, my then-boyfriend, my kid, and I moved into a tipi where we lived in the Colorado mountains for a couple of years. We “graduated” to a school bus and then, due to his health problems, moved into houses again (one of these days, I'll be back to round living again… I miss the tipi). We got involved in promoting concerts for a time and, when that started to bleed the bank account, I started in college to get a degree in nursing (I'll graduate May 2007).

Now I'm hoping to someday join an NGO in a 3rd world country to offer some healing and give back to the people who suffer for our American priveleges. I recently took a trip to South Africa where I visited a lot of the clinics and hospitals offered to both rich and poor. This has only strengthened my resolve to use my education globally.

Lest anyone think I've got a very serious personality, I should let it be known far and wide that I absolutely adore being silly. I love to silly dance (especially to Aretha Franklin), make silly laughs, erupt into song at odd moments, and play hide and seek with unsuspecting people in the grocery store… I think silliness can change the world!!! Besides, if it isn't fun, what are we saving?
